Three Generations of
Automotive Excellence

Sam's grandfather William Burrage began rebuilding transmissions in the 50s. He owned and ran transmission  shops in Windsor , Healdsburg, Santa Rosa and  San Francisco. Sam's father Bill Burrage  and uncle Ed Burrage started working with there father in the early 60s and opened there own shop B&E Transmission in 1964. The shop was run with great success for 40 years until they retired from the business in 2004.

Santa Rosa Transmission - Since 1999

Sam with the help of his parents Bill & Linda Burrage opened Santa Rosa Transmission in 1999. Sam started the business  in a small shop on  South A Street, an  obscure out of the way location. Originally  run and operated by Sam and his wife the company has grown to 7 employees and in 2004 moved to its new larger more convenient location on Santa Rosa Ave.
